Downtown Indianapolis is doing a good job of attracting young professionals. More than 20 new apartment developments, a growing tech industry and new amenities that make it easy to live, work and play downtown have helped spur growth in Indy’s core. However, when these young professionals decide to start a family, they often flee downtown, and Marion County, for the surrounding suburbs.
